Text messages from Next Show
How you sign up, what you get, and how to stop
Next Show, operated by Boxer Investment Group LLC, texts you about your concert plans with friends. You get texts only after giving us your mobile number on the website and agreeing to them, in one of the two ways below. We never text a number that wasn’t given to us this way, and we never buy or borrow numbers.
1. Signing up with your phone number
On nextshow.live, tap Get started. This is the screen you see:
The SMS Terms linked there say what the texts are about (your plans with friends: invites, answers, and reminders I ask for), and that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
We text a one-time sign-in code to that number; entering it creates the account. Right after, we send one text confirming the sign-up: “Next Show: Welcome, Sam! You’ll get texts here about your plans with friends. Save this number so you know it’s us. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Texts are not required to use Next Show: the same screen offers Continue with Google, which signs you in without a phone number.
2. Adding a number in Settings
Someone who signed in with Google can add a number in Settings:
The box starts unticked, and the number is saved only if it is ticked. The same confirmation text follows.
What we text you about
- A friend inviting you to a show: “Next Show: Michael is going to L7, Sat, Nov 14. You in? Reply YES, MAYBE or NO. nextshow.live/p/…”
- Who else is going, once: “Next Show: Joe’s in for L7 too. Going: Michael and Joe +1. You in? Reply YES or NO.”
- Reminders you asked for (“ask me Friday”), and one before the time the organizer asked for answers.
- For the organizer: who’s in, a friend joining from their invite, and a day-before reminder.
You can reply in your own words (yes, no, maybe, or a thumbs up) and get a one-line confirmation. No advertising.
Answering an invitation without an account
A friend’s plan link can be answered with just a first name. We don’t ask for a number there, and we don’t text anyone who answers that way unless they then sign up as above.
The details
- Frequency: varies with your plans, typically a few a month.
- Fewer texts: reply “text me less” for plan texts only.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Stop: reply STOP to any text (or “stop texting me”), or remove your number in Settings. START turns texts back on.

- We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
